About this build.
The MAG Europe Sportster is a great example of the culture of “bolt on” customising and what an impact a few parts from Roland Sands and Performance Machine can do to a stock bike.
The bike that started out as a 2011 XL1200N was given the overhaul treatment by first removing the standard spoked wheels and replacing them with the RSD Slam Contrast Cut wheels, rotors and upgraded Performance Machine brake calipers front and rear. The wheel upgrade included the rear moving up to 18 inch and both were wrapped with Avon rubber.
The seat was replaced with a RSD Cafe Racer seat to give the bike its new riding position. Lowered suspension with progressive suspension contrast cut shock absorbers add to the look. The two into one RSD exhaust system has been a very popular upgrade in the shop and works well with the MAG.
Other RSD parts include, tracker grips, speedo, headlight and gas tank, these parts give this bike a great new look. Roland himself designed custom paintwork and the bike is a true representation of what can be done from the Californian Design House and carried out by the UKs best custom painters Image Design Custom.
The bike has attended many shows and with the current trend for the Cafe Racer look, the bike has been very popular. Mag Europe want to keep pushing the fact that their products are super versatile and working with Shaw Speed & Custom they are set to pull the CR apart, showing how easy it is to remodel the bike so watch this space.
