About this build.
The Johnny Cash bike is another signature bike created by the Speed & Custom team. The bike is based on a 2003 Softail Fatboy was built for a guy who loved the Legend Johnny Cash.
The stance of the bike came from the use of parts available from our friends in California, RSD. The sprung solo seat with bespoke leatherwork was the starting point for this bike and all artwork followed this theme.
The wide 240mm rear tyre give the perfect opportunity for a portrait of Johnny Cash. A 23-inch Roland Sands Domino front wheel creates the perfect contrast to the oversized rear wheel. The low profile tank finishes the bike and gives it sleek new look.
The bike was first seen at the London International Custom Bike Championships in early 2010 where it came 2nd to our own Strike True II bike that won this event.
